The standard comic grades as follows:


NM (Near Mint): almost perfect copy with white pages.
The slightest of imperfections may be seen, such as one or two small
marks on the spine.

VFN (Very Fine): sharp, glossy and clean copy. Tight and flat with minor wear.
No significant marks.

FN (Fine): An above average copy. Slightly more wear. Slightly tanned pages.

VG (Very Good): some minor tears and light creases. Perhaps a small amount
of pen on the cover. Off-white to tan colour pages.

G (Good): worn copy with creases and tears. Possible spine-roll.
Still complete though.
